Pearce Illmer is an a cappella producer, recording engineer, arranger, and clinician based in Houston Texas. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Pearce served as the 3 year music director and arranger for UT's competitive mixed group, One Note Stand. Under his direction, One Note Stand became the first and only Texas group to compete at both the Sojam and BOSS a cappella festivals and also finished 4th at the 2016 ICCA Southwest Semifinal during a run in which Pearce received outstanding arrangement awards for their entire set in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds. As a producer, Pearce recorded One Note Stand's first studio album, "Yours", which had a track, "Latch", selected as the opening track for the "Best of College A Cappella 2017" compilation album. Now living in Houston, Pearce is heavily involved in the developing a cappella education community. He has worked as ICHSA Southwest producer, is one of the executive producers for Sing Texas and works as an all-inclusive a cappella producer, arranger, and clinician for groups around the country.
